This true color corrected reflectance image shows Tropical Storm Earl and Hurricane Danielle on September 6, 2022. This image was acquired by the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) aboard the joint NASA/NOAA Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (Suomi NPP) satellite. Tropical Storm Earl, seen in the lower left portion of the image passing to the south of Bermuda, is expected to strengthen into a hurricane in the next few days. Hurricane Danielle in the upper right portion of the image is this season's first Atlantic hurricane, but is likely to weaken into a tropical storm by September 8, 2022.
