True color image of a second large dust storm in two weeks in eastern China. This image was acquired on 28 March 2021 by the Day/Night Band of the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS), aboard the joint NASA/NOAA NOAA-20 satellite. Note the light brown dust/sand in the center of the image. Using Worldview, view the high aerosol index, shown in gradations of yellow to orange and red, associated with the dust.
