The GPM Ground Validation Two-Dimensional Video Disdrometer (2DVD) WFF data were collected during the Global Precipitation Mission (GPM) Ground Validation campaign at the NASA Wallops Flight Facility (WFF) in Wallops Island, Virginia from June 7, 2012 to March 5, 2014. These data measured the size, equivalent diameter, volume, fall speed, oblateness, cross-sectional area of raindrops, particle concentration, total number of drops, total drop concentration, liquid water content, rain rate, reflectivity, and rain events, as well as recorded two side view optical images of each raindrop. The data are in ASCII format.
