During the month of October, NASA's Terra satellite exited the Earth Science Constellation, lowering its orbital altitude from 705 km to 698 km. This lower orbit offers new opportunities for data collection by the spacecraft's five instruments.

Hosted by the Terra Science Team, this virtual, open Community Forum will provide updates and engage the community in discussions of instrument and spacecraft health, mission longevity, and prospective scientific impacts, data product implications, and opportunities resulting from past and future orbit changes. Presenters include Terra Project Scientists, Instrument Team Leads, and Flight Operations Team members.

The Community Forum takes place December 8, 2022, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., ET [UTC -5].

Register by clicking the green Register Here button, then scrolling down the Terra mission landing page to click on the Community Forum banner.
