The Surface Radiation Budget (SRB) project announces a revised release for the following Rel4_1-IP products and date ranges:
July 1983 – December 1987:
- GEWEXSRB_Rel4_1-IP_Longwave_3hrly_landonly_1
- GEWEXSRB_Rel4_1-IP_Longwave_daily_landonly_local_1
- GEWEXSRB_Rel4_1-IP_Longwave_monthly_landonly_local_1
January 1988 and December 2009:
- GEWEXSRB_Rel4_1-IP_Longwave_daily_local_1
January 2010 – June 2017:
- GEWEXSRB_Rel4_1-IP_Longwave_3hrly_oceanonly_1
- GEWEXSRB_Rel4_1-IP_Longwave_daily_oceanonly_local_1
- GEWEXSRB_Rel4_1-IP_Longwave_monthly_oceanonly_local_1
The original release of these fluxes contained erroneous values for the undefined//NaN regions which then propagated through the averaging of the fields. The error was limited to the clear-sky downward and upward fluxes at the surface.
