Forty years of satellite-borne ocean color, sea surface temperature, and sea surface salinity measurements are managed, archived and distributed by the Ocean Biology Distributed Active Archive Center (OB.DAAC) at NASA's Goddard Space Flight Center. This presentation will explore the history and evolution of satellite remote sensing ocean color sensors. Join us to learn how both past, present, and future platforms have and will contribute toward a vast and growing oceanography data archive. Participants will also be provided with an overview of how to discover and access ocean color data, services and tools that are available at OB.DAAC.
Participate in our monthly data discovery and access webinars to learn more about NASA Earth science data, services and tools.
