True-color corrected reflectance image of cloud swirls off Guadalupe Island, Baja California, Mexico on April 10, 2022. These cloud swirls are also known as a Von Karman vortex street. Here it is caused by winds blowing from the north across the island to the south. This image was acquired by Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS), aboard the joint NASA/NOAA Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (Suomi NPP) satellite.
