This image was acquired on 22 October 2018 by the Visible Infrared Imaging Radiometer Suite (VIIRS) instrument, aboard the joint NASA/NOAA Suomi National Polar-orbiting Partnership (Suomi-NPP) satellite. The image is a night time image from the VIIRS instrument's Day/Night Band using enhanced near constant contrast.
