Image of Wildfires in Northern Canada on 28 June 2015 from the Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) instrument aboard the Aqua satellite. The majority of these fires have been caused by lightning strikes. The problem has been exacerbated by hot weather and the lack of rain.
