The Earthdata Forum provides a growing collection of knowledge across the Earth science disciplines. Current participation includes six Distributed Active Archive Centers (DAACs), over thirty major projects, and nine data services. The Earthdata Forum is actively served by Subject Matter and User Services experts, Moderators, and Administrators from the represented DAACs.

During this webinar we will provide an introduction to the Earthdata Forum, a hub for submitting Earth science data, services, and tools questions and for finding answers on how to discover, access and use the data distributed by the DAACs represented on the Earthdata Forum.

The Atmospheric Science Data Center (ASDC) Earthdata Forum Developer and Scrum Master Crystal Gummo will guide users through the lifecycle of a Forum post and highlight various resources that can be used to get the most out of time spent on the Earthdata Forum. We hope to encourage users to invest their own knowledge in the body of work the Forum represents.

Note: An Earthdata Login is required to post to the Earthdata Forum. If you don't have one yet, you can set one up here: https://urs.earthdata.nasa.gov/users/new
