Rare Snowfall Across Southern U.S.

This image shows nitrogen dioxide concentrations across the United States, averaged over 2021. The data were derived from the Aura satellite's Ozone Monitoring Instrument (OMI). Lower levels of gas are colored shades of blue and higher concentrations are depicted in shades from white, red to black.
