2008 Reuse Utilization Award Recipients (alphabetically): Daniel Crichton, Dana Freeborn, Sean Hardman, John S. Hughes, Sean Kelly, Christian Mattmann, Paul Ramirez, David Woollard Utilized by the Data Management Systems and Technologies Group (388J) at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, this software provides file management, workflow management, and resource management features to manage the entire science-processing pipeline with heterogeneous computing resources. The three management components can be used together or individually, and a Web presentation layer supports RSS syndication of product feeds and full RDF exports of product metadata. This work has been used to directly benefit two NASA missions and is being leveraged for the National Cancer Institute's Early Detection Research Network. Reuse of this software has saved approximately eight years of development time and $1 million in development costs. The OODT CAS has also received Tech Brief Awards and Software Awards from NASA.
