2008 Reuse Peer-Education Award Recipient: Victor Delnore

As a past Vice-Chair of the NASA Earth Science Data Systems (ESDS) Software Reuse Working Group (WG), Dr. Delnore volunteered his services in this leadership role for four years. He has co-authored and co-presented a number of posters and presentations on software reuse to improve understanding of reuse among members of the Earth science data systems development community. His activities include co-authoring the Bottom-Up Reuse Guildelines: Intellectual Property, contributed to studies and documentation of a proposed Reuse Enablement System, and contributed to the development of draft Reuse Readiness Levels. Dr. Delnore led and parcipated in various other informal activities of the Software Reuse WG, and he continues to serve as a member of the WG, participating in meetings and activities in service of the community of Earth science data systems developers.
