We have recently produced the GSSTF2cproduct with a genuinely improved quality using the revised SSM/I brightness temperature (TB) by removing the artificial trends found in TB due to the drifting in Earth incidence angle. Relevance to NASA goals: •The GSSTF2cair-sea turbulent fluxes contributes to improved understanding of the air-sea interaction, global energy and water cycle variability, as well as to improving model simulations of climate variations. •The crucial correction of the brightness temperatures retrieved from across multiple SSM/I satellite sensors via identifying and resolving the EIA drifting problem.
