Enable meaningful, file-level searches of NSIDC data with multiple search platforms through OpenSearch.
Provide a portal to aggregate, search, and subscribe to data and services related to ice sheets.
Improve discovery and access to distributed data and services about ice sheets so that researchers can better determine ice sheet mass balance and forecast sea level.
