A variety of metrics are collected and presented on this page to identify the system usage and to support users in their use of the LANCE data. Unique Registered UsersThe number of unique registered users accessing the data through the ftp servers or be subscription is given on a weekly basis broken down by each of the instruments included in LANCE. The number of registered users at the end of the time interval is also shown. Approximately 10-15% of the registered users access data in any given week. Download Unique Registered Users for Week of Oct. 1, 2011 LatencyThe system requirements call for all data products to be available on the element ftp servers within 3 hours of observation at the spacecraft. The actual latency is shown for each of the instruments and is the average of all L1 and L2 data products. Generally, deviations from the requirements represent spacecraft, EDOS, or network problems. More detailed latency metrics can be found on the element pages as given below. Download LANCE Latency for Week of Oct. 1, 2011 Total Volume and Number of FilesDetails of the volume and files distribution can be found at the element sites given below.
Download Total Volume and Files Distribution for Week of Oct. 1, 2011 Distribution of Imagery through the Rapid Response SystemRegistration is not required to access and download the imagery available through the Rapid Response system. Consequently, it is only possible to identify the number of unique anonymous accesses. This is shown in two groups. The first shows the MODIS data accessed through the subsets and swath datasets. The second shows the accesses through the Web Mapping Service that provides data from a variety of LANCE instruments. In addition to the accesses, the number of downloads is given.
