ECHO System Status & PM Planning (Ayanna Dennis)

5/1/2012: Operations reported an outage in the Ops environment. This issue was the result of an elastic search node running out of memory, requiring a restart to resolve.
4/30/2012: Testbed and partner test environments experienced outages. The root cause of these outages is still unknown. The issue was resolved by rebooting the development machine tarf.
Operations ingest experienced some pauses over the past week. These have been resolved.

URS Mailing Lists

 

In Work/Upcoming Release 10.47 (being pushed to testbed 5/9)

  • Since much of 10.46 work was backported to be included in 10.45, 10.47 will be the next push to PT and Ops
  • Orbital searching algorithm fixes, NCRS 11012015, 11010960
  • NCR 11010708 Ordering multiple products from the same input granule, in work now, may be backported to partner test
  • NCR 110111946 Select Granules page needs adjustability by users (long filenames truncated in search results)
  • NCR 11012095 Large Granule Orders Slow
  • Developer Comment: Katie, I did an order for 1999 granules on MOD29P1N, the order step took about 68 seconds. I have made some code changes to make subsequent steps faster, but it won't change the time on the initial order step. It would be nice to know what is the expected time frame.
  • NCR 11012411 Text needed on the log in screen to let users know they are logging in with, or creating, a EOSDIS URS ID

  • Ted Habermann from the ISO 19115 Working Group will be joining the ETC to discuss ISO and how ECHO partners may be affected by the work being done by his group

 

Open Floor

Frank, Greg and Matt all expressed concern related to order processing in the partner test environment. This issue was escalated and resolved. This resolution corresponds with NCR 11012458: TS1 - External orders from ECHO|Reverb are not being received.


The problem was resolved via a change to the NASA NetOPS firewall to allow requests from ECHO to EWOC.
